Show the source. Keep the uncertainty.
Forma separates what the label says, what a document supports and what human research has actually tested.
What this comparison can answer
We compare costs for the same declared amount, formulation, pack size and traceable documents. These do not add up to an overall quality score. A laboratory report or standardization alone establishes neither safety nor effectiveness.
The principles.
Product facts
The initial catalogue records public manufacturer and retailer information with a source link and check date. Prices are observations, not live offers. Availability, delivery and checkout totals must be confirmed with the seller.
Research is not a product endorsement
Our ingredient pages are original summaries of selected studies, with populations and limitations. They are an introductory evidence sample, not a systematic review, medical advice or proof that a listed product works. No clinician review has been performed for this local edition.
No invented laboratory badges
Forma has not commissioned laboratory tests. A seller’s testing claim is not the same as a publicly accessible certificate. A certificate needs a product or batch match and relevant methods; even then, it does not demonstrate clinical benefit. Missing documents are marked unknown, not failed.
Comparable quantities
Pack price and capsule count are straightforward. Active-ingredient comparisons require explicit amounts and compatible forms. Extract weight is not silently converted into active content, and a suggested serving is not a medical recommendation.
Commercial transparency
This local edition has no active affiliate partnerships or paid placements. Outbound links are ordinary source or retailer links. Any future sponsored placement or affiliate relationship must be clearly disclosed and must not determine the evidence summary.
Updates and corrections
Every record should keep its source and check date. New collection results enter a review queue before replacing public facts. Changed prices, missing labels and unavailable documents remain visible uncertainties until checked.
The denominator matters.
€19.90 ÷ (90 capsules × 500 mg declared berberine HCl) × 500 = €0.2211 per 500 mg HCl.
This compares prices; it does not establish effectiveness, absorption or a suitable dose.
For Lion’s Mane, we do not turn extract, powder and mixtures into a single active-ingredient price.
