A documented kidney concern
A man developed irreversible kidney failure after five years of chaga powder use; biopsy showed oxalate deposits. A case report cannot estimate how often this happens or establish a safe dose, but it documents a serious potential harm. 1
Possible medicine interactions
Preclinical findings raise concerns about interactions with blood thinners and glucose-lowering drugs; their clinical significance is unknown. 2
