A current warning about injections
In August 2026, FDA reported adverse events in at least 30 patients after compounded intravenous glutathione, alone or with other ingredients. The implicated ingredient was dietary supplement grade. Reports included fever, chills, shock-like symptoms, and hospitalizations; the agency warned that this material was inappropriate for injectable drugs. 1
What do the oral trials leave unanswered?
