Particular care with diabetes medicines
A BfR-hosted EU-FORA assessment found indications that some extracts can strengthen the glucose-lowering action of diabetes medicines. It identified potential risks from combining them and uncertainty about product composition. This is a safety assessment, not an endorsement of treatment. 1
