Why are coatings and carriers used?
Digestive conditions can degrade SOD. Lipid coatings and protein carriers are being studied to protect it, but protection from digestion does not fully solve absorption. Results from injections, mimetics, and oral extracts cannot simply be pooled as one product. 1
