Are all AKG products equivalent?

AKG can be supplied alone or as calcium, sodium or ornithine salts. The aging studies discussed here used sustained-release Ca-AKG, and the retrospective study also included vitamins. Evidence for those formulations does not establish that every AKG product has the same effect. 1 2
