Coleus Forskohlii
Coleus forskohlii is a plant of the mint family from India and the source of forskolin, found in its root. It has a long history in Ayurvedic medicine.

The extract matters
The 2026 study used 250 mg of an extract standardized to 10% forskolin twice daily. The 2015 study also tested 250 mg twice daily. Those are research regimens, not an established effective dose for everyone or evidence that an unstandardized root powder behaves the same way. 1 2
