A useful label identifies the strain, storage requirements and live-organism count through expiration. More colony-forming units, or CFU, do not automatically mean a better result. 1

What does an immune-support claim refer to?

German consumer guidance notes that manufacturers may add vitamins or minerals to use their authorized health claims. Such wording is not evidence that the bacterial strain itself improves immunity. 2
