Can it interact with medicines?
MSK flags possible interactions with benzodiazepines, diabetes medicines, and medicines that prevent blood platelets from clumping. Much of the concern comes from laboratory or preclinical findings; the clinical relevance is uncertain. Medication review is therefore important before combining them. 1
How reassuring are the short trials?
The six-week pilot found no significant adverse events. Its small sample cannot establish long-term safety. 2
