Bile ducts, pregnancy and allergy

Health Canada advises against use with bile duct obstruction and recommends medical advice before use during pregnancy or with gallstones. Stop if an allergic reaction occurs. 1

When discomfort needs attention

Possible adverse effects include diarrhea, abdominal spasms, nausea and heartburn. EMA advises medical assessment if symptoms persist beyond two weeks. 2
