Carnosine

Carnosine is a dipeptide of the amino acids beta-alanine and histidine that is abundant in muscle. The body makes it and also gets it from food.

Also listed as L-Carnosine

Read beyond the word carnosine

Trials have tested L-carnosine alone, mixtures with anserine and zinc-carnosine. These are different interventions; results from a combination do not establish that a plain capsule has the same effect. 1
