Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a fat pressed from the meat of coconuts. It is mostly saturated fat, including medium-chain fatty acids such as lauric acid.

Use it for the flavour

Coconut oil can suit curries, vegetable dishes, baking and desserts. The BZfE recommends occasional, sparing use rather than making it the main everyday fat. 1
