Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a fat pressed from the meat of coconuts. It is mostly saturated fat, including medium-chain fatty acids such as lauric acid.

Take an LDL increase seriously

If LDL reduction is the aim, the trial evidence favours non-tropical vegetable oils over coconut oil. HDL increases alone do not establish benefit. 1
