Linoleic Acid

Linoleic acid is an essential omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid. The body cannot make it, and it comes mainly from vegetable oils, nuts and seeds.

Is there an upper limit?

EFSA did not establish an upper intake level for omega-6 fatty acids. The absence of a numerical limit does not establish the safety of unlimited concentrated supplementation. 1
