A human trial, but with three ingredients
A randomized pilot trial in 20 wine-drinking adults tested myricetin together with silymarin and pyrroloquinoline quinone. Testing after acute use and one week found lower circulating alcohol and favorable changes in some oxidative-stress markers. The mixture prevents attribution to myricetin, and these measurements do not establish protection from alcohol-related disease. 1
What about memory and blood sugar?
Reviews describe neuroprotective and antidiabetic findings in preclinical experiments. These are research leads, not demonstrations that a myricetin capsule improves memory or treats diabetes in people. 2
