Ubiquinol

Ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q10, a fat-soluble compound the body makes itself and uses for energy production in mitochondria.

How does it differ from ordinary Q10?

Ubiquinol is the reduced form of Q10; ubiquinone is the oxidized form. The body makes Q10 itself, and food also supplies it. A different chemical form does not by itself establish a superior clinical benefit. 1
