Energy Crashes

An energy crash is an everyday term, not a diagnosis: a sudden dip in energy or alertness, often in the mid-afternoon, after a large or sugary meal, or when caffeine wears off. Among the supplements rated for it, only iron has good human evidence, and only in people who are low in iron; most of the rest have small, mixed or no trials that measure tiredness at all.
