Lactobacillus rhamnosus

Lactobacillus rhamnosus, now named Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus, is a lactic acid bacterium found in the human gut. Its strain GG is one of the most studied probiotics.

Can yogurt supply the same strain?

Ordinary yogurt is made with different starter bacteria. Some foods have added probiotic strains, so check the label rather than assuming a fermented food supplies the organism used in a trial. 1
