What has been observed in people?

A 2026 systematic review found three uncontrolled studies with 30 participants in total: knee injections, bladder instillation and an intravenous safety pilot. Symptom improvements were reported, but the authors rated the evidence very low in certainty. The studies do not establish faster injury healing or allow reliable comparisons between routes. 1
