Better sleep, but which part?
A 2024 review included ten studies with 772 adults. Sleep-quality questionnaire scores improved, but results varied substantially; sleep duration, sleep efficiency and daytime functioning did not improve overall. Better subjective sleep does not necessarily mean longer sleep. 1
Anxiety is not one outcome
A 2019 review found small improvements in generalized anxiety disorder after two and four weeks, but no significant benefit for situational anxiety across three trials. Its single insomnia trial also found no significant benefit; larger trials were needed. 2
