What do diabetes studies show?
A 2024 review of 24 randomized trials in type 2 diabetes found improvements in fasting glucose and HbA1c, a marker of longer-term blood sugar. Another 2024 synthesis found lower fasting glucose with cinnamon but no significant HbA1c improvement. These differing results leave uncertainty about a reliable benefit. 1 2
Some blood-sugar findings are encouraging, but the evidence does not establish cinnamon as a diabetes treatment. 1 2 3
