Flavonols

Flavonols are a subgroup of flavonoids, plant pigments found in onions, kale, apples, tea and berries. Quercetin, kaempferol and myricetin are the best-known examples.

Also listed as Citrus Bioflavonoids, Citrus Bioflavonoid, Bioflavonoids, Bioflavonoid

What does “bioflavonoids” tell you?

The term covers a much larger family than flavonols. Quercetin and rutin supplements are available, while citrus mixtures may contain compounds from several flavonoid groups. The ingredient list is more informative than the umbrella term. 1
