Fiber
Inulin
Inulin is a soluble dietary fiber made of chains of fructose, found in chicory root, onions and garlic. Commercial inulin mostly comes from chicory.
Which foods contain these fibers?
Inulin and related fructans occur in foods such as chicory, artichokes, onions, garlic and leeks. These foods also contain other components, so a serving is not equivalent to a measured dose of isolated inulin. 1
