Questions people ask

Does zinc-carnosine cure “leaky gut”?

The small trials measured changes in permeability during drug or exercise challenges. They do not establish a cure for a broad collection of chronic symptoms. 2 3

Is 75 mg zinc-carnosine the same as 75 mg zinc?

No. The complex is only about 22% zinc by weight. 1

Can it be combined with another zinc supplement?

Total zinc exposure matters. The BfR recommends a warning against other zinc supplements when a product supplies more than 3.5 mg daily. 4
