What happened in women with low desire?
An uncontrolled study followed 29 postmenopausal women for two months. Sexual-function scores improved with a product combining damiana, fenugreek, Tribulus and ginkgo. Without placebo or separate ingredients, this cannot establish damiana’s contribution. Pain during sex did not improve significantly. 1
Why researchers also study anxiety
Mouse studies reported anxiety-related effects, while rat experiments linked sexual-behavior changes to nitric-oxide signaling. These are useful research leads, not demonstrated treatments for anxiety or low desire in people. 2
